About the Report

The Rehab Report is a passion project exploring the intersection of sports medicine and professional sport. Every article investigates an athlete’s injury, explains the underlying anatomy and mechanism in plain language, outlines the rehabilitation plan, and details a realistic return-to-play timeline.

Every claim is backed by linked evidence…peer-reviewed medical literature, contemporaneous news reporting, and firsthand social media accounts…so readers can trace the analysis back to its source…

About the Author

Hi, my name is Dean Michailidis. I am a physical therapy student with a particular fascination for sports pathology: how injuries happen and what the recovery will look like.

The Rehab Report grew out of that curiosity: a way to dig into real, high-profile cases and work through the evidence as rigorously as possible, in pursuit of the kind of practical solutions that get athletes back to the sport they love…hoping to give fans a better understanding of what an injury means, what recovery might look like, and whether their favourite player could be back in time for the playoffs, and what they might look like when they return.
